Compare the VW Tiguan and Atlas in Our Frederick Showroom

At Fitzgerald Volkswagen Frederick, our SUV options give people plenty of standout features and versatility. But with the Tiguan and the Atlas, we have people wondering what's the difference and which one is right for them? We're here to answer those questions for you!

What you will find is that in terms of technology and safety features, many of the options are similar. That's because the entire new Volkswagen lineup has standard options across the board in these areas so you get a comprehensive and modern vehicle experience no matter which one you choose. As for the differences between the Tiguan and Atlas, size is the biggest. The Atlas is larger and has more room across its three rows of seating. Both seat seven, but for those who need more passenger and cargo space as a priority, the Atlas is the one to choose, especially for big families. As the larger vehicle the Atlas also has a more powerful engine. Outside of that, there's a lot to like about each one and we have a quick rundown of the specifics to help you make a choice that's right for you
